Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were friends for many years before people started thinking they might be more than friends in 2019. They shared the news about expecting a baby in January through a photo shoot in Harlem, New York.
Rihanna said in April that they weren’t really planning to have a baby, but they also weren’t trying not to. She mentioned to Vogue that they just had fun and weren’t keeping track of things like ovulation. The pregnancy test result was a surprise, and she immediately shared the news with ASAP Rocky. She showed him the test at home and then went to the doctor the next morning to start their journey into parenthood.
