No matter what happens, I love you.” Their friendship had some issues after Selena talked about her mental health and bipolar disorder in a documentary. She mentioned Taylor Swift as her only showbiz friend, not mentioning Francia, who gave her a kidney in 2017.
A few years ago, Selena Gomez got really sick because of a disease called lupus. Her kidneys were failing, and she needed a new one fast. Luckily, her friend Francia Raisa wanted to help and donated her kidney in a surgery in August 2017. This saved Selena’s life.
After a documentary about Selena aired, Francia seemed upset about a comment related to Selena’s friendship with Taylor Swift. The next day, Francia unfriended Selena on social media. This isn’t the first time they’ve had problems. They argued before because Francia didn’t like how Selena was living after the kidney transplant – still drinking and going to parties.
