The movie has an impressive opening weekend gross of 36 crores*, far exceeding expectations. Just a week ago, it was believed that reaching double-digit openings for any film was a challenge, but Spider-Man: No Way Home has surpassed this with significant advance bookings for the first day. The extraordinary opening is more than four times what would have been considered fair, especially given the circumstances, making it a remarkable success.
The decision to release the film on Thursday has paid off, and although a drop is expected today, it’s anticipated to pick up again on Saturday and Sunday.
